March 8, 2014 is the scheduled departure of Malaysian Airlines flight 370 from Kuala Lumpur at 12:35 a.m. and arrived in Beijing, China at 6:30 a.m. but MH370 never arrived at Beijing, China. Over 5 years later since the plane mysteriously vanished, we still don’t have any answer on what exactly happened to MH730 and where is the exact location of the disappearance of the plane.Flight 370 was one of the two daily operated flights of Malaysia Airlines from Kuala Lumpur and its destination which is located in Beijing, China.5 hours and 34 minutes was the expected flight hours of MH370. Boeing 777 passenger jet is the aircraft that is being flown that was carrying enough fuel to remain in the air for 7 hours and 31 minutes. The plane is 11 years old without any previous mechanical issues. It was operated by crew consisting of 12 people who are all Malaysian citizens and two pilots, namely Zaharie Ahmad Shah, a 53 year old pilot in command and his copilot that is 27 years old namely Fariq Abdul Hamid. There were a total of 227 passengers on board. 153 passengers are Chinese citizens, 50 are Malaysians, 7 Indonesians, 6 are Australians, 5 Indians, 4 are French citizens, 3 Americans, 2 Canadians, 2 Iranians, 2 are New Zealanders, 2 Ukrainians, 1 Dutch citizen, 1 Russian citizen, and 1 Taiwanese. The plane departed slightly later than the scheduled flight, MH370 took off from the runway at 12:42 a.m. and it was soon cleared by the air traffic control to climb in 18,000 feet in altitude. At 1:19 a.m., it is the last verbal communication from co- pilot Fariq Hamid to the air traffic controllers of in Malaysia. When MH370 flies towards Vietnam, across the gulf of Thailand, the co- pilot apparently said “All right, Good night.” Then, at 1:21 a.m., the radar transponder of flight 370 was turned off that’s why it suddenly vanished from the radar screens of Kuala Lumpur and Ho Minh Chi City. 2:15 a.m., the Malaysian Military was still capable of tracking the flight, they’ve detected an unidentified object on its radar travelling west, and the radar target is thought to be the flight 370. About 200 miles off the coast of Malaysian state of Penang, the plane vanishes from the military radar. 6:30 a.m. is supposed to be the schedule arrival time of MH370 in Beijing. Lastly, at 8:11 a.m., a satellite tracked the last signal from the aircrafts antenna.

There are a lot of conspiracy theories about the disappearance of Malaysian Airlines flight 370, such as Remote cyber hijacking, Alien abduction, and a mystery passenger was on board; there were cracks on the plane, etc. The debris of the missing aircraft was found in the Reunion Island in Indian Ocean, in the beach of Mozambique, on a Tanzanian Island, and in Mauritius. Among all of those conspiracy theories and the debris that were found, I would stick to the fact that the cause of the disappearance of flight 370 is it is ‘maybe’ a system error or the pilot error. Why? It is a system error in a sense that the aircrafts system malfunctioned, such as the software or the hardware of the plane, or maybe the control panel or the radar did not work as expected. It may be a Pilot error because he wasn’t able to troubleshoot the system or the pilot accidentally done a mistake to the aircrafts system. No matter what the root cause of the disappearance of Malaysian Airlines flight 370, many people are hoping and praying to finally have an answer on what really happened to MH370 also known as “Aviation’s Greatest Unsolved Mystery.
